PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) — Two folks died from issues of hypothermia – not from drowning — after their canoe rolled over at Lake Nice, authorities stated Sunday.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s officers stated deputies had been dispatched round 10 a.m. Saturday to the south space of the lake close to the Waddell Dam.
They stated three folks had been contained in the canoe when it rolled over. Two of them had been pronounced lifeless on the scene and authorities initially stated the victims drowned.
The third particular person was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening accidents, in accordance with authorities.
Sheriff’s officers on Sunday recognized the victims as 22-year-old Arimus Nazareth and a 14-year-old boy whose title isn’t being launched as a result of he’s a juvenile.
