Beverly to Honor 4 City Residents Killed During Vietnam War

BEVERLY, Mass. (AP) — 4 males killed in motion through the Vietnam Battle are being honored in Beverly with the naming of metropolis squares of their honor.

The Metropolis Council voted this week to approve a request by the Beverly Veterans Council to erect indicators in reminiscence of Cpl. Donald Contarino, Lance Cpl. John Glasser, Capt. James Shotwell and Sgt. Alfred Small, The Salem Information reported.

Paul Lantz, commander of Beverly Veterans of International Wars Fortunato Publish 545, stated he researched the place they lived Beverly in order that indicators might be out up in squares situated of their neighborhoods.

Beverly Fielding, Small’s niece, stated she is thrilled that her uncle is being remembered.

“If my grandmother was right here she could be so grateful that that is being accomplished for her son,” she stated.
